I have scars on my knuckles that have been there for a while now, theyre small but noticable and they make my hands look ugly hwo can i get rid of these small scars?????How do you get rid of scars??

If you use some coverup that works. You'll have to apply it alot but it works.

get some vitamin E gel tabs and some REAL cocoa butter lotion and mix together and use it a few times a day, that helped get rid of the scars over time.

the only thing that I can think of to help scarring is taking vitamin e tablets which you can buy from natural supplements stockists like your chemist. I take the vitamin e tablets once a day as well as piercing the tablet and putting the pure vitamin e oil onto the scar. Vitamin e is also good for your heart health too so you are getting two for the price of one.
I have heard that Vitamin E oil applied directly to the area helps reduce the appearance of scars, however ther is no cure that I am aware of.

Well, there has been pads, ointments, and stuff like that made to get rid of scars that you can buy over the counter that say to be clear, unnoticeable, etc. That should get rid of them.
skin laser rejuvination, use laser to burn off the scarred skin, and thus forcing new layer of skin to appear. may need to do it several times until all the scar is burned off. may look even uglier at first but once they new layer of skin appears, it will look like baby skin

If you're lucky, vitamin E will help. Get the kind in the little capsules, poke a hole in it and rub some on your knuckles. It takes a while to get absorbed, but it's probably your best bet. Be patient, and good luck!

Well...it is usually a combination of two or three of the above to get the best results...i.e. Dermabarsion and chemical peels can give good results in only very superficial acne scars. If you have a lot of scars though, you should maybe try StriVectin. It's a bit expensive, but it really works. I used to have scars on my leg also, and it removed them completely.

To prevent ingrown hair when shaving





Shave after the hair has been wet for at least 5 minutes. Hair that is wet and full of moisture can be cut easily. Hair that is not well saturated can be very strong and tough. As the razor passes over, the hair is pulled up from the follicle. After it is cut it retracts below the skin surface with the resultant risk of it growing into surrounding tissue.





Shave in the direction of the hair growth. Cutting with the grain not against it will prevent hair being cut too short.





Prevent ingrown hairs by avoiding repeat strokes over the same area. Repeated strokes can also result in hair being cut too short.





Shave with the skin in a relaxed condition. Do not stretch the skin too taught. A little pressure may be necessary but excessive stretching can again result in hair being cut too short.





Use Tea Tree Oil twice a day in conjunction with a loofah bath or shower. Tea Tree Oil has a bacterial ability to kill infection and prevent pustules forming. (Avoid the eye area)





To prevent ingrown hair when waxing





To pull out the hair cleanly without breaking it follow these recommendations: Apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of the hair growth, preferably holding the spatula or tongue depresser at a 45 degree angle as you spread the wax.





When applying the cotton strip over the wax, rub in the same direction as the hair growth leaving about 1/3 of the strip free to allow for a firm grip for a fast back pulling action.





Pull the skin taut before pulling the cotton strip away.


Pull back with a rapid movement close to the skin. Do not pull up or out, rather pull back.





One fast, smooth, pull back is much more effective than a series of light pulls which only increase the pain and leave patchy areas.





After 24-48 hours exfoliate the skin (with a Loofah sponge for example) to prevent the dead skin from accumulating in areas that can become ingrown such as the bikini line, upper thighs, underarms and calves.

ingrown hair is caused when the hair curls and grows back into the pore i suggest shaving with a three or 4 blade razor everytime make sure u pluck out the ingrown it will hurt like hell but it will alow a new one to grow in then put neosprian on it so it dont get infected hope that helps-Aaron

Scars never go away fully but you can help them fade by using Vitamin E 400iu, the best way is to buy them in soft capsule form, pin prick the capsule and apply it directly on the scar, I'm presuming this scar has healed %26amp; is not fresh, as to put anything on it would be dangerous without talking to your Dr firstly.
