Using lemon juice can also help fade scars. Lemon juice can be strong if your skin is not used to it (because it is so acidic) so try diluting it. just squirt a few drops of lemon juice on a wet cotton ball, and rub the cotton ball over the specific area.
Bonus: lemon juice also helps clear your pores, so you could just rub the cotton ball over your whole face (and body) while your at it. Lemon juice helps prevent zits.

I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I agree with the first response Miderma is your best bet. Other remedies of VIt E etc, take a lot longer and don't always work. It may be a little expensive but it is worth it. A friend of mine used it on her facial scar and it worked great. You can barely tell she had one at all. Good Luck!

something that i have used thatt has worked really good is neosporin all u have to do is cleanse your face with warm water then wipe dry with a clean towel and then wipe clean with alcohol pad and dry your face and then jus apply the neosporin to the affected areas or jus your whole face this is better than most acne medicines because they make your face worse first then it gets better and sometimes dont even work

Personally, ive read alot on scars as i have quite a few left over too. What ive heard to do is apply acv(apple cider vinegar, u can buy it at ur grocery store for under 2 bucks) and mix it half and half with warm water. Then dab the diluted acv with a cotton ball and apply it on your scar. Also i have heard that drinking it is great too but it might taste a bit sour :P . Also another great thing to do is go make an appointment with your dermatologist and get her/him to prescribe u a tropical gel called ';retin a micro';. As ive heard and read, u need to apply just a lil' dab on the scar for about twice a day, preferably morning and night. However the downfall to using retin-a micro is that it will peel your skin - but thats how it works. Using retin-a micro will make ur scars get better before it gets worst. tho retin a micro wont work over night, i am more then certain u will achieve decent results from using it atleast about 2-3 weeks. It takes a bit of time, but im positive that if you use this tropical and dab some acv dilutd with water, those maarks will fade in time. gd luck :)

Your plastic surgeon is right. There are so many different types of stitches that if its plastic surgery then the stitches will look not much different at first but after 6 months it will just be a thin line slightly paler than your normal skin colour. The best thing to preven scars would to not scratch the bite. You could use a band aid to remind you not to scratch and make it harder to get to.

First things first, Get to know your skin. Is it dry, oily, sensitive? This will determine what skin products you may apply to your skin. Different skin products for different skin types.

if you have no spots any more, just scars then go for it, i wouldnt advise it if you have spots to have the laser surgery.
but even if you go to a specialist then they might turn you down if you dont have severe scars, as red marks will fade and scars will heal, it will be two years for the scars to finally reach the stage that they will stay at and not repair any more, and all the red marks will go away.

I've always wondered b/c I've seen people get minor injuries as little children and have retained scars to prove it.
I've had some pretty gruesome injuries, and the doctor even predicted the scars were there to stay, but they all disappeared - no sign at all (as an adult). Why is that?
So why is it that some people are able to heal better than others in the same situations?Why do some people heal better than others (scars etc)?
A lot of things will determine how well you heal.
For example, diabetes, especially when it is not well-controlled, makes people heal less well. There are a lot of diabetics out there missing toes, feet, or legs due to gangrene caused by this.
Other variables that can contribute include how good your nutrition is (if you don't have the materials to build new skin very well, you're not going to build new skin very well), drugs (long -term steroids tend to thin people's skin), how good people are at not picking at wounds, and how clean the wound is kept (since infection makes them heal slower and uglier).
The factors above can influence, but some people also just heal better than others, the same way how good your teeth are, how easily you get stretch marks, and what your body wants to weigh have strong genetic components that aren't easy to change dramatically no matter what you do about it.Why do some people heal better than others (scars etc)?

More than likely, since you will test positive for a TB skin test, they will have to get an X-ray. It will be helpful for you to bring in the past X-rays in order to show that there is no increase in the size of the tubercles and therefore that you are not having active TB.

you can use murad acne spot lightner! or retina from the doctor! i work at sephora and lots of people love the murad one! to cover up i would use a cream based concealer i like the time balm! then use laura mercier pressed powder on top of it! thats how i disguise mine!How can i get rid of these scars????

1- The Tomato Treatment
Take a fresh tomato, give it a good wash then slice it into reasonably thick pieces. Rest the tomato on the scar and leave there for a few minutes. Perform this procedure twice a day before washing your face (so you don't go to bed with bits of tomato sticking to you!)
2- Lemon Juice
If the tomato treatment doesn't give you the results your after try this great homemade acne scar treatment. Slice up a fresh lemon and once again apply it to the scar. What can I do to make my scars disappear? URGENT?

Okay, so I have four really noticeable scars on my left leg and one on my right leg. My legs are really nice. I mean they're just the right skin tone, soft, long, and strong but my scars just make them look bad. And now, swim suit season is already here and I am starting to wear shorts. I really want to make the scars disappear without ruining my legs or skin. So, do you have any ways that can help me? Thank you for all of your help!What can I do to make my scars disappear? URGENT?

im tell u a story when i was younger i didn't have acne n all sudden i had this case of horrible break outs. i got acne n it was all bad. i was really open b4 acne then all sudden it seemed like i was sinking on titanic.i over came it eventually but to this day it sometimes bugs me. though i don't have acne i have sum scars too. i had this life changing experience a year ago when i was with my dad working we got suck in stopped traffic. i saw this kid with a head deformity i mean he had big head n this kid acted normal.he was waving at everyone and being happy i taught to myself if he doesn't' care why should i care. i mean its tru acne is bad but there are worser things than acne. yea she probably saw u were self conscious which is okay acne does that to u.. i know i didn't really answer ur question im just tryin make u build sum confidence acne destroys ur confidence n its really hard to get it up trust me.but once u get ur confidence u will fly HIGH trust me. im up top now.. remember there's worser things than acne scars atleast they can be treated other things can't .... gud luck.

I also heard of using lemons but never tried it myself. what i have been doing works good for me personally, but both products you should rub into the scars several times per day. about ten mins or so...just rub it in...NOT AGGRESIVELY. With continued use, my skin is looking so much better these days.

I'm not sure if AMBi works because i never heard of it. Here is what I do...
mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpenisve and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingerdients. toothpaste is good also (for some people). put only a little bit before you good to sleep. some people use this as a mask but don't do it! it can change your skin tone and make your face discolored. aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticable. use the gel or the real thing. try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not to hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. the use cold water at the end to close you pores. the smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. an egg yoke is good also. i used this when i had pimples. just take the egg yoke (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water. keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc. zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. you can buy these almost about any large store (such as walmart or shaws.) have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. clearasil, neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start. don't use body soaps because they dry out your skin. don't scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin. tea tree oil helps alot, and it can help scars heal faster.I'm African American %26amp;have minor acne %26amp; scars on my skin. I got diagnosed with cancer about 4 months ago, and have to have surgery. I had 5 inches removed from my thigh, and im very tiny, so it looks even bigger. They said it wont look like a ';normal'; scar for about a year. My concern is that people will stare at it and ask questions, or that this now alters the way i look to some people. Utter Cream. Seriously, go down to the nearest farm store, and pick up a jar of ';Utter Cream';. I know it sounds weird. But try it. (It's the stuff farmers put on their cows utters)! (Nipples). I had a girlfriend who had very bad acne. As her acne was clearing up, she use the Utter Cream.
(If you don't find it in a Farm Store, many inexpensive department stores carry it, like Ocean State Job Lot, and 'Dollar' Stores).
PS She and I broke up, before I saw any improvement.

I have used Vitamin E with success on scars, but you have to use the capsules and pierce them, not the oil that's sold. There's too little Vitamin E in the oil to be helpful.
I have also heard good things about Mederma which might work better on surgical scars. Be sure you get clearance from your surgeon before using it, though.

I really love Bobbi Brown`s creamy concealer kit. It would be perfect to put over tough scars, and also works great on dark circles. It comes with loose powder as well.. I think in the US it costs about $40, in Canada it`s $50...
A nice lighter cover up (liquid concealer) is Shiseido`s concealer, it comes in a little cylinder tube. It`s quite light but hass pretty decent coverage and looks natural. It costs about $25. However, there isn`t very much in the tube.
Cargo makes great foundations and concealers, they`re really light, look natural and have good coverage. Their oil free foundation costs less than $30, and so does their concealer. Decent sized tubes too, they last a while :)
Oh, and another great one, Clinique`s Perfectly Real liquid Makeup. Great coverage, feels pretty light and isn`t fake-looking. I used to use this, then switched to the Cargo foundation... it costs about $30.

But if u want to go more into a ';higher'; brand, I would suggest Bare Minerals, or even MAC Mineralize SPF15 foundation. Minerals in my opinion seem to cover even more that regular foundation, it also looks more flawless... srry I don't know on the pricing.. u might have to look up on the internet... HOPE THIS HELPS!1

they have special cream or something like chap stick were u rib it over ur scars and within a certain amount of time they disappear u can search it up on amazon.com

I have little bumps on the back of my arms and now on my legs, well i picked at them and of course i have scars now. ive stopped picking but the scars are really bad and its embarrassing. i wont even wear a tank top. ive tried putting make up on my arms but it really doesnt help. i look like some kind of dirty person and i couldnt be anything farther from that. ive tried lotions and nothing helps.I have little bumps on the backs of my arms, now i have scars any ideas?
Yikes! My sister had this condition (and still does, but it's not quite as severe). It is called dermatitis and there are quite a few medicated lotions for that. Also, you might want to see a dermatologist about it, and see what he recommends. There are many store-bought medications as well, but seeing a dermatologist will really help. Sorry for not putting this in my last comment, but I just remembered! Try purchasing a shrug so that you can wear a tank top. The shrug will most likely be thin so that you won't be too warm. I wouldn't have bothered with this comment, but I can't imagine life without tank tops. I live in them! Report Abuse
It could be acne, try using oxy acne body wash which contains the ingredients to fight acne and for the scars try using Palmer's cocoa. I hope this help and please don't pick at it. It will only cause scars and cause more to spread. Or it could be something more serious such as a staph infection, you should really check with a dermatologist just in case this could be the problem and they will give you the medication you need to treat your problem.
