Does lemon make you acne scars go away?

If you put lemon [juice] on you scars does the scar clear up OR does something else work [that worked for you]. BTW I am a dark complextion.Does lemon make you acne scars go away?
lemon juice does work but you'd have to mix it with something like milk and honey to make it less harsh (your skin's natural ph is around 4.5 and lemon juice is like 2.5). honey has antibacterial properties. you'd also need some kind of sunblock with that (green tea is a natual sunblock). also what has worked personally is anything with squalene oil and kwao krua.





oh yea, if you use the lemon juice thing you have to apply it with a soaked towel/ washcloth and let it sit on your face so it gets applied evenly or, like someone else said, your skin will be lightenend unevenly. after you stop using it your skin will go back to normal within 3-6 months.Does lemon make you acne scars go away?
I mean the whole theory behind lemone juice is that the acidity stripe off your skin. It works for surface brown scars, but not necessarily for deep red scars. Plus if you have darker complexion, the lemon juice will make your skin looks spotchy, not a good idea.
you'd think that'd make scars worse, you know, with the acid in lemon....





try using a moisturizing lotion with vitamins! plop a small dot on the scar before bed. I do that. My skins clear and now my scars are fading, but also it's winter break so maybe not stressing is the best thing for your skin!
Yes, it does over time. Use it sparingly over the face because it can really sting.





Vinegar is pretty good too. Apple cider vinegar is good for clearing up the face.
no it doesnt work get dermalogica resurfacer its an exfoliant it will help reduce the appearance!
