How to get rid of acne scars?

okay, so i have acne scars on my chin because i obviously picked at the pimples that were there(my mom told me to do that, so i did :( )


its not really that bad, i can just cover them up with makeup, but it still gets very annoying,


i would like to know how to get rid of it and how long it will take.


right now i am using some cream thing, it might be benzoyl peroxide(however you spell that) and i don't really get bad pimples anymore but the scarring isn't going away

Nope benzoyl peroxide only kill acne causing bacteria but they dont help scarring.
