Will popping yellow zits give me scars?

If i pop yellow zits (where theres lots of yellow pus in them) Will it give me scars on my face? Or are you meant to pop them?Will popping yellow zits give me scars?

I understand why you would pop 'yellow heads' as they dont look to nice and also by getting the pus out the spot it heals quicker.





Use hot water to open the pore then get the yellow head out (make sure fully or it will come back again) and then wash your face with cold water to close the pores so nothing gets in to infect the area and then i woluld use toothpaste to dry the spot out so you can put cover up on the spot to hide it!Will popping yellow zits give me scars?
sounds like she's ready to blow, so pop away, but do it with clean hands and wash out the resulting opening thoroughly with soapy water or a facial wash.


Scars are caused when you damage the skin whilst popping them - this normally happens if you pop one too early. If its ready to burst it should happen fairly easily, if you have to really squeeze it then you're in danger of damaging your skin, especially in fleshy places like your cheeks or legs.
No. Be watchful, you have to disinfect/clean them after you do, it's the dirt that gets into the little wound that causes scars.
The popping is not the problem - they will do that of their own accord eventually. If they become infected then they could cause scarring though so make sure you clean carefully with antiseptic.

it all depends if your zit is big and iff you leave it open for a long time with out a bandaid it might get affected-that will get infected
Pop them it wont give you scars. if you leave them they get bigger and look awful.
will probably give u blemishes that stay flat but red and under skin for ages. may look horrible but try not to pop them x
they wont scar as long as you keep them clean.
iv popped spots and they havent scarred
