Are you African American? If so, you probably don't have acne scars. Instead you have pigmentation on your skin from past acne. Good News is they can be treated. Bad news is, you can't treat them for $50 or less. You can have IPL treatments by a trained dermatologist (IPL= intense pulsed light) or you can use bleaching agents or you can get a glycolic acid peel. Go see your dermatologist about these options.
