Wrong!!! Coca Butter does not work for scar tissue, wanna know why? of course you do!!! its because scar tissue forms in your DERMIS and coco butter and other butter products can't soak through the epidermis to the dermis....if you want something that would work buy a concentrated form of Vitamin E oil, or other oil products.....or you can do what that one dude said and try out the laser!!Does Bio oil work for scars? I had an op and i want something to help the scars fade?
I have used bio oil for about 6 months now, and yes, the scars have faded a bit. It helps if you apply it regularly. Baby oil, Cocoa butter containing vitamin E is also quite good.
There's an extremely rich lotion you can get in Superdrug nowadays, called E45. This is really good for hydrating skin and help mending scars.
