Does anyone know the best makeup to cover my acne/scars ??

I've used several cover ups but either they turn orange or my face is too oily!! I need something that will not clog my pores nor aggravate my skin %26amp; give me the best possible coverage. Please help me, my self esteem is below 0.

I have the best luck with chanel concealers, but someone covered up something like a scar with sheer cover? Have you tried that?





I got rid of adult acne with Thyme (the spice) essential oil. It's like the strongest antibacterial. However, every time we eat something that's been preserved and processed it's like asking for more so to keep them away for good it's really important to change what we eat - it's not you.





Face scrubs - I love everything from Clarins, they have the only body exfoliator that really works it.





You can always make your own with raw organic sugar just to get started.

I have found a new Arbonne concealer that I love. It covers fully, but is completely oil free. And it doesn't change colors when mixed with the oils or acidity of your skin.


I wouldn't recommend a scrub with any ground up shells, apricot pits or other ';natural'; exfoliators as they have a tendency to have rough edges that can be too abrasive.


My favorite is Lancome Resurface C. Spendy but effective.
bare minerals seem to work really nicely! it covers up so well! it may be a little expensive but it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it!!
You can try Covermark cosmetics, which was developed specially to conceal scars and such.


As for a scrub, the Eucerin daily scrub is effective and gentle at the same time.


Try using scrubs with ';micro beads'; in them rather than the larger pits that can be abrasive.

Try Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation/powder. It is very light, and I have not had any problem with it clogging my pores. However, to keep that from happening, I use a face scrub that has those micro beads in it every night and every morning. Try Clean and Clear Oil-Free Daily Pore Cleanser. It is the best one for my skin, and my skin sounds pretty much like yours. Good luck!
Don't just try to cover ups with make up it will make it worse. The first steps is try not to wear make up for one month to see what happen. The more you cover up it will make more acne. So, try to eat healthy and sleep early. Also, you can try to use mask to heal the acne. Try it for one month.
Well, the best face scrub that i've ever used is Dove. for your acne/scars the best thing to do is not cover it w/ makeup but, if you really need to use a concealer like a powdery one my fave is e.l.f mineral powder concealer is very light but works and so does the e.l.f mineral foundation. tho you can also use a tinted mousturizer w/ conceler (liquid) and a powder foundation something that very light and healthy to your skin. The best is Physician Formula concealer--the green one.


Put regular foundation over the concealer. A trick to get rid of acme quicker is apply calamine lotion on pimples. It dries them right up. The best facial scrub is St Ives apricot scrub.But I had trouble finding it.So I tried the clean and clear morning Blast scrub it's pretty good too.
